"Not the fanciest place (but Monteverde isn’t about fancy), but the place with the most character of all our stays in CR. Friendly staff, family environment, and very communal dining areas conducive to meeting other travellers."

"Ro was very welcoming and friendly and helped us settle in. Good value for money and plenty of available parking. Room was spacious and the property had good views. Breakfast was average and maybe could start a bit earlier (6:30am instead of 7am) as we found tours start at 7/7:30am. "

"Hotel Ciprese was a last minute choice for me and it was the best I could have chosen. It was clean, safe, near town, had a delicious breakfast, and the staff was excellent for recommending local events and tours and helped point me in the right direction. I would 100% stay here again!"

"We were only in Monteverde for one night, and this was a great B&B! Spacious and comfortable. Jenny made and served us a fantastic breakfast to start our day, too! Will definitely consider staying there again if and when we visit in the future."

"The room was always spotless. We would leave for an hour or two and always come back to a clean room and fresh towels. And the staff was amazing. Mike and Oscar, Jessica, Kevin, Ronald, And the staff that handled all the booking were like family to me and my girlfriend by the time we left. A big Thanks to Mike and Jessica and Oscars wife for making my girlfriends birthday so special. We will come to back every year because we loved everyone there so much. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful place and the grounds, Or the staff. All of it was just amazing including the food. Just outstanding!!"
"Lovely stay with very comfortable beds! Spent a lot of time in the communal area that had a great view and breeze. The guys at the front desk were always so helpful and friendly. 5 min walking to a great supermarket and restautants."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This beautiful hotel is small, quiet and elegant. The forest rooms opened to beautiful landscape with a small patio to sit. The included breakfast was made to order and the dinner was fabulous. Lastly, the hotel reception was super attentive; one afternoon we needed a taxi from a soda and I just messaged them on Whatsapp and they took care of it. "
Eco Boutique Hotel Vista Las Islas Reserva Natural
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well, breakfast was amazing!, views were incredible! We watched (and heard!) capuchin and howler monkeys around the hotel; swam in the clean, warm pool; enjoyed the abundant flowering plants; and ate at the lovely outdoor, reasonably-priced restaurant Location was close to bioluminescence waters, Curu Nature Reserve and more.
We will stay here again!"
"The rooms are very large, with comfortable beds, luxurious robes, scented bath products and a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. The balcony was very nice with a comfy hammock swing to lounge in! The hot tub was most enjoyable too. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean. The whole property is just lovely. Views are outstanding!!"
"We loved, loved, loved the fireplace. The view was nice. The location was great. It rained mostly while we were there, but we had a great time anyway. Would highly recommend. "
