“Rooms were clean and tidy but the kitchen was not. Coffee maker had mold, silverware and dishes were not clean, we ended up eating out instead of cooking.
Pool was beautiful and clean. Property was a wonderful place to relax and explore. Proximity to town was great assuming you have transportation.

“Amazing place and extremely good value. As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need. Bit of a climb back up hill but it’s good for the health. Highly recommend using this place for a……

“Great value for rental. Basic accommodations but that was expected. Dirt bumpy road to access gates entry, but nice one you enter the site. Did not experience much noise as past reviews. No AC in unit, but weather was cooler than rest of Costa Rica so it was comfortable.”
