"Be aware they have rooms without AC, they gave us a fan only room. We were supposed to get a Junior suite and it was nothing like the picture. Not enough towels for the three guests, small beds, close to the reception so the noise early in the morning was not fun at all. Property is nice, cold water pool was been clean so we couldn’t use it for day and a half. Good food, decent drinks prices."

"I had a wonderful experience at Pibi Boreal hotel! The location is perfect—very close to the SJO airport, which made my travel so convenient. One of the best parts is the free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was punctual and easy to use. The hotel itself is spotless. Every corner, even the tiniest area, was incredibly clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and I really appreciated that. Overall, this was a comfortable, stress-free stay. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient place near the airport!"

"We were looking for an “off-tourist” spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but would’ve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didn’t have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end “glamping”. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. "
