“The location of this property was nice, we loved the hot tub and the open space around the hut. The Star pub down the road was great and the Spar supermarket was handy. Unfortunately there were several things that detracted from this stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring through the mattress- we even tried flipping the mattress to see if this helped (it didn't help, and revealed a stain). In the end I slept on top of a couple of thick fleece jumpers so I couldn't……

“What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb. Lovely trail walk to the coastal trail but secluded enough that it’s quiet and private. There’s a trail across the fields to get to a great little pub with excellent food. “Pedney Shepherd's Hut is located about 50 yards off the A30, around 6 minutes drive from the centre of Newlyn. It is set back from the road up a few steep steps which led into s semi-tropical small garden. Occasionally some traffic noise can be heard, but it didn't disturb me and I'm quite sensitive to traffic noise. The fixture and fittings at Pedney are first class. Is everything brand new? It looks it. In particular, I loved the shower - hot and cold water immediately available and at a high……

“Ideal base for visiting this lovely part of Cornwall. We particularly enjoyed Tremenheere Gardens and St Ives. Penlee House is also well worth a visit, and Tanglewood is a tranquil haven if you enjoy a quirky and less manicured garden. Cottage hosts are on site and very welcoming and helpful.”

“The cottage is in a fabulous cobbler street location, 2 minute walk to the harbour. The cottage is well equipped if you wanted to cook, we ate out because there are lots of lovely places to eat. The cottage was lovely and clean, great powerful shower. The host Victoria had left us milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and tea towels. We had great communication from Victoria, any questions were responded really quickly. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return. Thank you so……

“The property was perfect , lots of space and everything we needed . The ceiling fan in the lounge was such an asset and made use of quite a lot of. There was no key for the patio door so it couldn’t be opened fully and we tried to make contact but got no reply - towards the end of the week we managed to get a key from the office . The only other thing we were slightly disappointed in was the view - the listing kind of made you believe you had a sea view when you definitely didn’t . But the area……
