It's an "Up and coming property" needs work but it's convenient to Camp Perry and much more reasonable price-wise than the rooms in Port Clinton that fleece you.
The staffs at front desk are amazing people. Seems tbey recently got the property from days inn to Motel 6 but they are really working hard to meet everyone expectations
This is an extremely nice property! We arrived at midnight and the man that greated was helpful, fast and very nice. Our room was nice, clean, comfortable.
I must say, I have a very bad neck and back. I forgot my pillow! I can't sleep well without my pillow. The bed was so soft and comfy but the pillows..... OUTSTANDING! Best pillows ever! The room was also extremely quiet!
10 stars!

I rented a King bed room, it was not carpeted(ideal for me). It was very spacious but lacked an area to sit other than an office chair at desk. This room had plenty of space to accommodate 2 chairs for relaxing and TV viewing at night.
Staff was very friendly and helpful with Free Wi-Fi and streaming services on TV.
I will stay again in October.
This is a hidden gem. I brought my kids to wrestle in Cedar Point. This is about a 40 minute drive, but a ton cheaper than staying in Sandusky.
It was incredibly clean and well lit. They had a huge TV in the room that had everything on it you could ask for.
The hard working young couple running the place were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. They also had the cutest little girl with them.
The only thing I have to mention is they don't have breakfast, so just budget accordingly.
We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area. We loved this place and the people.
The facility was clean, well maintained, quiet and easy to find. Staff was accommodating and available. The biggest drawback/disappointment was "breakfast." There was a "self-service" dry cereal, coffee, tea and fruit (I think) area., nothing hot but the coffee and tea.
If a hot meal is not important to you in the morning I would definitely recommend this place for your travels.

Staff was friendly and helpful but... the room was poorly cleaned. Hair in the tub and on the sink and counter in bathroom... dead bugs(some kind of beetle) on the floor like wwom wasn't swept thoroughly...exercise room was a joke. some medicine balls, treadmill and exercise bike squeezed into an area the size of a walking closet. Hot out of order .. pool look3d clean but used towels were on the ground and this was in the 10 11 am....my biggest disappointment was they advertised breakfast and not one time in my three days did I see anything not even coffee.....and then was charging $3 for a regular can of pop is diabolical.
The staff was friendly enough, but the facility was in poor condition. The rooms had cold air, good beds, and a fridge, but we found that our room had not been swept or properly cleaned upon arrival, the TV would cut out as it was wifi only, our door latch had been broken into before, the shower would alternate too cold or searing hot, and the coffee maker was broken.
There was trash piled up around the outdoor trashcans, and I'm not sure if they were guests or not, but there was a group grilling in the woods right next to the parking lot daily, set up with hammocks and tents.... The "hot tub" was broken/drained with 4x traffic cones set up around it, no additional towels in the swimming area, and the exercise room had 2 ellipticals, a treadmill, a flat exercise ball, 4 medicine balls, and a single 40lbs free weight....

On the website, they offered a free breakfast and a pool neither were available. No free breakfast and no swimming pool was very disappointed. The rooms were OK. They were clean. The TVs in the rooms were only a 32 inch most TVs in motels now are 48 or bigger. I don’t think they had cable. They were still remodeling some of the motel rooms. It was OK just to be there to sleep because we got in late Friday and we were gone all day Saturday so we were only sleeping there, but it would’ve been nice for the free breakfast and the pool to be available.
