the place is perfect! isolated but close both to mahon and es castell, is big but makes you feel at home, is old, but with historical markers and a story behind it.

"First stayed at this hotel in 2015 wh n I was a Resident Host for Saga Holidays. Since then I have stayed several times and have made many friends in local area. Thus stay was a trip down memory lane before the hotel changes management company.

"Spleased with our stay. The pool is lovely, but there's no place to lounge, which was a little disappointing. My room needed better window shades because the outside motion detector light in the hotel would go off every time someone walked to their room, which would wake me up. Overall, very happy with our short stay. "
"My wife and I had a wonderful week at Barcelo Hamilton. The hotel is in a perfect location above where the promenade of the picturesque harbour of El Castell begins. From there it’s easy to tale a leisurely stroll with plenty of places to stop for drinks, meals, and shopping. We had a superior room with a spectacular sea view which was ideal for watching the never ending procession of boats of all shapes and sizes entering and leaving the port at Mahon. The staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent with choices for all tastes. The pool and the rooftop jacuzzis are great, as is the rooftop bar with panoramic views. All in all it’s a great hotel in a perfect location. "
"Had a great break here, very relaxing, staff all very friendly and helpful, hotel was extremely clean throughout with staff constantly tidying up, drinks were of a high standard (even the Sangria on tap) and the food whilst not loads of choice was all tasty and well cooked, would definitely return."
