The best part of this home may very well be the garden. On one and a half acres, it is completely private, boasting 40 palm trees, three huge tippijuana trees, two yellow Tecoma trees, and a coral tree. You can pick your own oranges for fresh juice in the morning or avocados from one of 13 trees. With 30 species of plants, several very old and rare, one guest labeled this garden, Little Lotusland.
Most importantly, the owners have created a variety of separate areas to enjoy that include a fire pit, outdoor fireplace, and a tennis and basketball court. You can have afternoon tea under one of the two arbors or take a book or computer to work there. Sip morning coffee with a friend on the two chair swings outside of the master bedroom while watching birds indulge in their morning bath. You can have dinner out, in your own dining area, with its large round table, your back to a roaring fire, while facing the garden and the pool. In the morning you can swim laps in the heated pool, relax in the hot tub and take the short path directly to the bedroom for a steam shower.
