We’ve stayed that this hotel many times before and the stay was again excellent. The room was generously large with a usable balcony. The buffet breakfasts were outstanding in quality and selection. Generally the whole experience was excellent.

This was a great stay. The location is great, it's about a 10 min walk to the marina/quay and downtown but we mostly used ride shares instead. The buffet breakfast was great because we did a lot of early morning tours and it made it extra convenient for us to not have to leave to go grab breakfast. The staff area great, very helpful. The rooftop view from the top floor was the cherry on top that made this trip to Madiera excellent. The only con was that the room was not cleaned the best way possible, despite us asking. We thought the cleanliness could have been better but honestly we did not care much as we wanted to go out and about and needed it to rest.
