I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.

There was hair in the bed and on the wall in the shower. The shower head holder was broken and it would only attach to the wall about stomach height and would spray water all onto the bathroom floor.
