The breakfast was excellent, great selection of hot and cold items. 5 minutes to the local beach in Kamari and lots of nice restaurants to visit. Downside was that the pool and bar area were not open until 10am and closed by 7pm so no early morning swim if you like that sort of thing, or a nightcap before bedtime. Otherwise a great place to stay for a short trip to Santorini, the airport is close by but the ferry port is on the other side of the island (if you come in that way). The staff down to the cleaners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with lots of different choices of local and continental foods. The rooms were a very good size with really good showers..the views of the pool and sea in the backround from ours was amazing. The Rivari is set in a very quiet relaxing location it is only a 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants and kamari beach. This is rated a 3 star but it exceeds many 4 star places. If you're looking for a calm place to relax i highly recommend the Rivari. I dont often say i'd return to the same place but if i went back to santorini this would be high on my list. We had a lovely stay at Rivari hotel, 3 adults sharing a family room with 2 bedrooms. Clean and spacy, with the extra benefit of 2 bathrooms. The only downside were the beds, which were too hard for us. We usually stopped at the supermarket which is halfway. Staff is awesome from check in to cleaning ladies. Hotel us always spotless in the rooms and hallways included. Breakfast was a bonus for us I was not aware it was included.
