A great stay at this very modern apartment complex 👍 Booked a 6 night break over the Xmas period at good price via Expedia. Flamingos salgados is in a quiet area in between the Albufeira Marina and Amerco de pera (Galé /Gui area) so a car is ideally required unless you want to use Uber or Taxis to get around. The beach isn't far from the complex but due to the road designs and lack of pathways it's around a 2.5k walk or drive to reach. This complex was only built in 2024/25 and to a high standard. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with fully fitted kitchen, microwave, kettle, toaster, 4 ring induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine x2 (Espresso and filter drip) plus a good selection of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. There is a large balcony accessed from living area and bedroom that gets the sun all day from around 11am to sunset. Reception spoke good English and where very welcoming plus they accommodated our early check in request. They also gave us a small sweet pastry present on Xmas day so this was appreciated. A couple of things to note. Underground parking is available at a charge (€5 I think), but free parking is available outside on street. You will need to bring your own washing up liquid , kitchen towels, Tea cloths, coffee pods to avoid the frustration others have noted on some reviews. Wonderful stay! It's like staying in someone's lovely ranch home. The garden suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable- best shower in Europe! The relaxing vibe and out of the way location made for an ideal Algarve experience.

Amazing staff and beautiful grounds. Incredible place to stay.

We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. The gardens and the pot plants throughout the exterior of the hotel are calming to the mind. The therapist Christina in the wellness centre was excellent and provided me with a very positive experience at the Luma Wellness Centre. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and our room and terrace were immaculately clean to a high standard. We loved the pool/beach bag provided and the coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was to a high standard and we loved the menu options served to the table. We loved the food in the restaurant,its presentation and the staff and manager’s attentiveness during our dining experience.

Staff , clean room amenities . My husband was celebrating his birthday and on his day they brought cake and champagne to the room . It was a beautiful hotel !!!
