The building and rooms could use a little updating, but the location itself was perfect and the onsen included for the price? Amazing. Would definitely stay here again if coming to Otaru

Super good service!
I stayed for one night in Dec 2022 and I thought the hotel wifi was working but not. I tried to get help from the front desk and there was one service staff Japanese lady who spoke really fluent English was really helpful and kind she asked to come up to my room to help us resolve the wifi issue! I stayed on the 9th level and when I hung up the phone, she rang my room bell in almost 1 minutes!

Hotel is easily accessable from the Otaru train station. The buffet breakfast spread was great. Ramen supper was a plus. Amenities like microwaves, ice dispenser and washing machine inside the onsen area good for visitors with longer stay

The room table/tv setup looked a bit dated, but they served their functions. My room was a little tight space, but I was just sleeping one night so it wasn't a problem. The baths were nice EXCEPT for their posters avout tattoos. I know onsens overall have terrible policies preventing people with Tattoos use baths, but the poster saying it wasn't band was in poor choice. I don't have a tattoo but this poster was so small minded and stereo typing that all tattooed people are thugs and criminals. Hotel needs to review their decor (and policies) to be less discriminating of people.

One of the best hotel stays I've had in Japan. - Extraordinarily convenient - you walk out of Otaru station and there it is! - Amazing breakfast buffet - so much food, so much variety, high quality sashimi and other ingredients - Sizable onsen baths, perfect way to relax after a long trip - The area is very walkable to shopping districts, the canal, etc, and Otaru station connects you with buses and trains to go anywhere else you need - Friendly and efficient staff Literally zero complaints.
