On the one night the power went out, the generator kicked in right away with no inconvenience to us. We found the location was central to where we wanted to explore and look forward to a return visit next year."

"We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk. "Chinook Cottage is in a nice neighbourhood not far from everything you need in Campbell River. The solarium is a nice sunny space even on a rainy day."
