“Very quiet area and very flat. Great if you like animals, dogs, hens, sheep, horses and a turkey are within the grounds. Vintage mismatched rooms and fabulous breakfast with home made bread. Not much entertainment but 2 pubs nearby, one within walking distance, other serves food until 8pm. Lincoln city, castle and cathedral worth a visit. Very entertaining host, lovely family and winner of four in a bed!”

“My stay at the Goat House was magical. The decor and the whole ambiance were superb as was the service. Samantha was very welcoming and extremely helpful. I arrived somewhat later than expected. I was on my way to a function which was further away than anticipated. Samantha kindly offered to take me there and collect me afterwards. This made the whole evening far more enjoyable for me as i didn't have to worry about driving and maybe getting lost. Breakfast was brought to me in the morning...

“This was a wonderful house to stay in, it worked especially for us just wanting the one night, with a bath and allowing dogs! So it ticked all the boxes for us. The bedroom is huge with an en-suite bath and shower room next door. Imogen and Terry were the perfect hosts and breakfast was enough to feed many more than just the two of us!”

“I booked this room for my three sons (all in their 20's) for a University of Lincoln Graduation. The room was very clean and comfortable and what I expected for the very reasonable price that was charged which also included breakfast. The bed linen and towels were nice and fresh. The shower room was shared between several rooms but was always available when my sons went to use it. The owner is very friendly and helpful and allowed me to pay on checkout which is rare nowadays. ”

“The pictures don't do it justice, the house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. Ideal location. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, the house is so well equipped and has literally everything you could possibly need. Hosts were fabulous and so responsive and even included a welcome basket with wine, treats and bread and milk. We couldn't believe how cheap it was for the location, amenities and house in general. We will 100% be back”
