"Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. Even though it seemed we were away in the middle of nowhere and very quiet, town was only a short drive away. Some of us did take and enjoy the Yuengling Brewery tour. "We were in town for a tournament at In the Net and this was exactly what we needed. It was a short drive (~18 min) on beautiful scenic roads to the games. Little house on Lincoln was comfortable and peaceful when we wanted to be away from the high energy of competitive sports. Everything you could need was on site and the host was so easy to reach. The noise from trucks noted in other reviews is accurate AND we just used some while noise to drown it out a bit. It was better than slamming hotel...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Manor so much. There were 5 adults and 2 children in our group. The weather put a damper on our visit but we were still able to enjoy the peace and the views around the home. The kids had their pony rides and we were able to meet all the horses they have saved. The home is beautiful and well kept. Communication with the owner was SO easy and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"Husband and I stayed 2 nights while in town with our 3 kids (14, 13, 11). Short drive to Hershey park. The farm was so cute and the kids fell in love with Ranger the corgi. House was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! Which is important to me. Would recommend and would most definitely stay again!"

"Three ladies stayed while attending the Lancaster Quilt Show. Plenty of room to sew in the evening. On street parking was not a problem. You may want to add a curtain on the bathroom window or frost the window. Also wider curtains on the windows."
