The hotel was good, but it is by no means a 5-star property. It is obvious that it may have had a 5-star status in the past, but it is now in need of renovation.
The staff were polite and friendly, with the exception of the employee at the beach bar. He seemed so bored with his job that he looked as if he worked at a funeral home rather than at a beach bar.
The main meals were very good, and everything was of a high standard. The snacks and light meals included in the All Inclusive package were quite basic and rather underwhelming.
The hotel does not have its own parking facilities, and guests are forced to park wherever they can find a space. This is a significant drawback, even for a 4-star hotel.
Overall, the experience was good, and we had a pleasant stay. However, in my opinion, the hotel does not meet the standards expected of a 5-star property.
