We had a plumbing problem in our room the first day, but the owner/manager Ruth was so accommodating, understanding and happy to help us out. She upgraded us to a different room without hesitation. First time here and would definitely return.

The staff were awesome. Very helpful and nice! The property is an older property but very close to most things to do in town and the beach. There are no elevators so if you can’t go upstairs, you might ask for a first floor room. Clean, good location, and great staff.

Very friendly and helpful property manager. Property very dated, I guess quaint to some. Everything there works. Limited tv (missing cable box in our companions room), lots of dvds to borrow, no instructions on working the three remotes. Noisiest dead end street ever. Too bad we had to keep the window open to stay cool. No air conditioning. Does cool mean turn off heat? It doesn't cool that's for sure. I'm getting too old to climb stairs to my room. Close to everything. Would have loved staying there for half the price.

We found the room a stinky mess. Complained to mgmnt but no other room was available. Smelled of heavy cleaning but underlaying animal urine. The floor appeared to be water damaged so a concern of possible mold contamination. Did a toilet overflow? Bed was comfortable but such noisy springs we were hearing the neighboring room bouncing bed in the middle of the night.

Like walking into the 1960's... then you see the newly renovated inside of the rooms. Staff was over the top friendly. Beach Access was less than a block away. Loved that you could borrow sand toys. They even helped us clean our shell finds before we left. Really clean, super friendly, and easy access. Dog friendly. What more do you need.

You definitely are only paying for the walkability to the beach and the downtown area. The property itself is very misleading from the photos that you see on the listing online because it’s very rundown and it looks like a hoarders den on the outside perimeters with lots of trash & junk everywhere and the screens are falling off the windows. The air conditioning barely works & it’s incredibly hot in the rooms leaving a strange odor. Also, they put a table and chairs in the room that you can’t actually use. Right across the street there’s a much more modern property I’d recommend.

It was a wonderful inexpensive hotel with easy access to beach, restaurants, especially if you have kids. It is a bit old and outdated, but we only needed for sleep and easy access with kids. Parking was tricky as they don't have designated parking, we had to park by the church. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have made reservations for next year!

Superb accommodations for the price
The Motel is older, with a kind of rambling structure that gives it a unique character. The room was well appointed, in very good condition and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is superb, especially if you are interested in any beach time or any of the many activities available in downtown Seaside.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, kind and generous. Due to the construction happening at the building where our room was, she kindly moved us to a nicer room at the other building at no extra cost so we would be further away from the noise. It was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed! The hotel is super close to the beach, quiet and safe. Plus they have complimentary snacks, games and movies at the reception.
