Lux 6 Bedroom with Stunning yard & Chef's Kitchen

Amazing retreat home, with a huge and beautiful double-lot yard, gardens and trees, a fully stocked chef's kitchen, lovely furnishings and a great location! You'll be walking distance to Puget Sound through lush Carkeek Park and Greenwood restaurants. Close to everything on a quiet street, 15 minutes from downtown, 4 minutes to Green Lake, 7 minutes to Ballard, 12 minutes to UW. 4 beds upstairs, 2 in a daylight basement, and 3 baths (including huge jetted tub), plus media room. Come Relax!
The space
Outside stairs & entry:
You'll walk up a couple sets of stairs from one of two directions as you approach the house (either a small set by the driveway - 3 steps - and then another set to get to the front door - 5 steps - or the stairs near the street - 5 steps - and then the set to get to the front door - 5 steps). The front door has a personal code for each new guest, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of keys!

Main floor:
When you walk in on the main floor of the home, you have a seating area to your right with 2 brown leather couches, 2 mid-century chairs and a white leather chair, along with an organic shaped walnut coffee table and side table. There's a television on one wall that's off to the side, so that it's not the center of the room. The artwork on the television can be changed if you'd prefer a different photo or design. There's a shelved table you'll see right when you come in behind the couch with games for you and your friends or family to enjoy.

To your left you'll see a place to hang coats and a bench seat that runs the whole length of the large south facing windows. The windows look out onto two massive poplar trees, a firepit, and a northwest landscaped yard. The south facing windows let in a lovely amount of natural light. A walnut dining table with attractive lines and Scandinavian designed chairs will be waiting for you. At the end of the bench seat you'll see a door that leads outside to a deck with outdoor table and chairs, and a bbq.

Directly in front of you as you open the door you'll see the kitchen with a large white quartz island and four bar stools. It's a wonderful place to cook and entertain if you're so inclined. The kitchen is fully stocked - you'll find quality baking sheets, new pots and pans, beautifully glazed dishware, a dutch oven and corning ware, and fun colorful serve ware. Small appliances include: coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, rice cooker, cuisinart food processor, hand mixer, pancake griddle. The microwave is located in a nook opposite the fridge, in the island. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask! We love to contribute to a wonderful stay for you.

As you walk past the kitchen, you'll find a nook with two leather reclining chairs, and a bookcase with a few books and bar utensils for mixing drinks. If you'd prefer that the bar items be removed prior to your arrival, we would be happy to do that.

To the right of the nook, is a bathroom with a full bath. All bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash, along with bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths.

Upstairs:
To your left you'll see a carpeted stairway that leads up to 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with a standing shower. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds in them, two of the bedrooms are twin beds. All of the mattresses are Nectar's 12" memory foam mattresses and each room has it's own, colorful personality. One of the queen rooms has a desk in it, and both twin bedrooms have desks.

Downstairs:
On the main floor, near the bathroom, there's a long set of carpeted stairs that leads downstairs. Our two king beds are located downstairs, and they share a master bathroom and walk-in closet. The master bath has a large, jetted tub and a glass surround shower. The king room on the north has a smaller closet with a dresser inside of it. The other closet in that room has some shelving and it's also where the furnace is located. The other king bedroom to the south is larger, has a desk, and also a leather reclining chair.

The washer and dryer are located in the hallway and are for guests to use and enjoy. Liquid laundry detergent is provided and without fragrance or dyes.

At the end of the hall, there's a carpeted area with a television and couch. There's a back door to access outside as well. Please place shoes on mats provided at all outside access doors.
