"We arrived about an hour and a half before check in opened, but there were no parking spots, so we had to park in a public car park a few blocks away. We were offered a welcome drink, but at the bar were then told that this only covered coffee - as it was about 30 degrees outside, we kindly declined. "It's very remote, only reachable by car, yet a parking fee of 6€ per day is collected. They are not prepared for people with allergies or intolerances. So be prepared to bring your own food. I woould suggest to the owners to provide some kind of shuttle service to train or bus station or downtown Ahlbeck. Also a water kettle to prepare tea was missing as well as an option to lock the door from inside."
