“We arrived at the VRBO after a bit of difficulty locating the house number as we were not aware of the house number and a letter after it…maybe 7E or something like that. We also thought once you entered the lockbox code the door would unlock. It took quite some time after a cousin drove up to advise there is a key inside the lockbox. Not easy to open. The apartment was very cool and we had to notify the owner who was good enough to come by and advise heat on timers. We asked for that to be……

“Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so……

“What a delightful stay! Karen could not have been more kind and welcoming. The Bothy is lovely, well appointed, cozy and very well located, close to the town and hiking. Karen has thought of everything for The Bothy, including a wonderful library of books on the local area. Walking/hiking from The Bothy is brilliant.
