Taxi fares from the airport in Seville are outrageous. We paid € 35 for a 5 minute ride and the driver was incredibly rude. Why did we have to pay this? Because the Marriott does not operate a shuttle service. If you are going to locate your hotel next to an airport, then make a shuttle available. I ended up going back the next day by UBER for € 8,00. Imagine if I had paid € 70 for two 5 minute taxi rides. Not a great introduction to what is truly one of the great cities in Spain. Once again, rip off the tourists. Perhaps everyone needs to think back to COVID and what happened when tourism disappeared!

A few bits and pieces could improve ….
We enjoyed our stay the first time and we came back again a few days later to stay again. The staff was very kind and pleasant. As mentioned before the breakfast does get boring day after day. The gym was great and the pool area could use more loungers. Overall the location was super and convenient too.

It was good but breakfast could be better (fresh made tortilla de patata isn’t hard to have it made). I would say about the fact bed is divided and the pillow aren’t very confortable. VERY clean and friendly deskfront.

Property is beautiful and luxurious, but nothing walkable. Glad we had a rental car and parling was free. But we picked this hotel mainly for 2 reasons, pool, and they have a turkish spa, both were closed! We felt a. It scammed for pahing the extra ticket price to stay at this hotel to find those amenities werent available to us.
