Delightful stay

Posted Jan 11, 2018
Pros: location, decor on 15th floor, A41 bus to/from airport, nearby shops and reasonable price
Cons: noisy hallway, rooms are not well insulated from sounds in hallway
Location: river walk, shatin garden
The hotel is old, but price is reasonable if you don't mind to travel from a suburb to HK. Cross the street is river walk where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along both sides of river

Old hotel with big size room

Posted Jan 10, 2018
Hotel is dated. Receptionist service was not good. We booked for a triple room but they intended to put us in a twin room with sofa bed. Upon further demand, they have finally gave us one. Hotel room is very dated. Beds are hard. Hotel is far from MTR unless you know how to catch buses. You will be running a marathon each day to go places. Restrictive use of wifi. Only 2 machines can be used free in each day, shuttle bus is available but cost more than taxi. Concierge is very helpful. Hotel itself offers many dining options but pricy.

A Hotel that needs a renovation

Posted Jan 7, 2018
Room to room noise isolation needs to improve grastically. Bathroom tiles are old and a bit filthy. Overall this hotel needs to have a major renovation.

Clean, friendly hotel close to Sha Tin Station

Posted Dec 22, 2017
Pros: Convenient to MTR station and airport, quiet part of Hong Kong, very safe neighborhood.
Location: Ten thousand Buddhas monastery, Sha Tin MTR, quiet area.
The hotel was clean, the staff was professional and friendly. There are complimentary water bottles, which is always a plus. The staff all spoke perfect English. It was within 10- 15 minutes of walking distance to Sha Tin Central (MTR station), but you could also take 284 (bus) to Sha Tin Central if you didn't feel like walking. To/ from the airport, it has its own stop that takes you right in front of the hotel (A41... not to be confused with A41P), which makes it ultra convenient. It is super safe and a quiet hotel, which is greatly appreciated. There is also a 7-11 right next to the hotel to get an octopus card/ refill your octopus card. There is also a noodle place that was open at 3 am when the jet lag kicked in, and we wanted food next to the hotel, but it was all in Chinese. But it is Hong Kong, so most people speak at least a little English.
