"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"If Harry Never Met Sally, was a beautiful place. It was well maintained, and very clean with exception of some dust on shelves and in some cabinets, other wise it was spotless. The check in process, was easy. The staff at Heritage Harbor reached out and sent emails with amenities available so we would be ready to go when we got there. "This property has SO much potential! The area is gorgeous, pool wonderful (although cold bc not heated), vicinity of amenities is wonderful and Starved Rock State Park just 10 mi away is awesome... but the upkeep was awful. And, service at the Red Dog Restaurant on site was awful. Unfortunately, overgrown weeds, broken bedroom blinds, a dirty bathroom, and lack of amenities we actually used were not worth the price. We couldn't wait to get home. :("
