The architecture of the building makes such a refreshing change from the modern hotels of concrete, glass and over the top air conditioning. Our room was lovely and was beautifully furnished and the public areas of the hotel were also thoughtfully presented. Although some people might find it a little formal, the staff were friendly and polite without exception. The hospitality by the staff is beyond imagination. The location of this hotel is really good. Clarks is heritage propery with excellent location ! The the sunset view from terrace is easily viewable . staff is extremely polite and helpful. It being our anniversary they endured a very comfortable stay and decorated our room so nicely! It's an Oberoi chain and lives upto its name . The food was nice and breakfast buffet was good except that I wish the coffee was better The property is in severe need of renovation as certain corners of the room smell of the stale rubber in sofas.
