A good place to stay

Breakfast was kind of ok. Rooms were clean with a note that for any of the consumables reception needs to be contacted.

Green View Clarks Inn stay-Didnot meet expectation

Experience at Green View Clarks Inn, Shimoga was pathetically disgushting. 1. The room was not ready @ 5pm and they made us wait outside for 30 mins (though the checkin time was in the noon, it was not ready by the time we reached) 2. Toilet was stinking and slippery. (not sure what and how they cleaned taking so much time) 3. In one of our room A/c stopped working middle of the night and it was suffocating. 4. The Rice Bowl Veg restaurant was closed and we had to go out for dinner (we had booked this hotel only after looking at the Veg restaurant option showcased) 5. TV was not working (Cable connection was not renwed by the Hotel)

Rooms are nice and clean, staff is helpful. Only veg food is available and food quality also needs to improve a lot.

It was very noisy! Could not sleep as the nearby doors were being knocked till very late at night. Then on the floor upstairs the furniture was being dragged and dropped with a bang. The sound like gas cylinders being dragged and dropped even very very early in the morning!
