Absolutely amazing stay. Cabin was beautiful and impeccably clean. It was so quiet and calm, Mel the property manager was so attentive and easy to get ahold of. We didn't want to leave!!!
We’ve stayed here before and would stay here again. Great location by many state parks, comfortable beds, responsive host, has amenities we appreciate like a dishwasher and washer and dryer, and a cozy feel to the interior.
Our group of 5 family and friends had a great time. The cabin more than lived up to our expectations. Great access to the trail system. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
Amazing location just minutes away from great hikes, trails, waterfalls, rivers, the lake, and bars/restaurants. And it really feels like home - clean, comfortable, all the amenities you need for an incredible trip to the north shore.
This was our second time staying at this cabin and it did nothing but improve. We will be looking to come back for a third stay. Great location and right off the main road.
We picked this place mainly because it was on the atv trails, but it's a really great cabin. Little out of town so private but close enough to just run and grab something if you need it quick. Would stay again for sure!
Our stay was fabulous!! Melissa is a great host and very responsive. Great clean space with accommodating features. The proximity to town and trails is so convenient. The property has land to explore and a great lookout spot! And the sauna was the cherry on top! Feeling totally recharged and refreshed! Thank you!
Nice cabin in the woods, close to lots of North Shore attractions! We had 5 adults and 1 dog and used the trail shack as our home base for a long weekend getaway. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and we were very relaxed and happy during our stay.
Great little getaway for the North Shore! Cool little place right off the highway, easy process, easy check in. Quick communication from the owners. Thank you again!
Everything from the firepit to the comfort of the beds alwas perfect for this stay! The cabin is such a warm rustic decor yet updated and perfectly clean. Nathan and Collen could not have been better host and went above and beyond in our stay. I very much would suggest this for a stay on the north shore.
We loved our stay here! The cabin is very comfortable & clean with the cutest decor. We were able to visit several state parks up and down Hay 61 due to the centralized location of this property. The hosts were so accommodating, we loved it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We will definitely be back in the future!
The property has a woodsy, whimsical, charming feel. It’s close to many hiking trails and close to town if supplies are needed. We definitely plan to return.
We (two couples) enjoyed our four days immensely, biking, hiking, cooking together, and sitting around a campfire. One of us even used the sauna in summer! This is a great location for whatever you're looking to do on the North Shore.
This cabin was perfect for some fall hiking. Halfway up the north shore so you can go all the way north or down to duluth and its not too long of a drive. Nice quiet spot for our family to stay at.
Excellent property! This property was ideal for my husband, myself, and our two dogs. It is located right in the middle of several must see attractions and served as the ideal home base. The property was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. If we were ever in the area again we would stay here!
The cabin is just as lovely as it looks online. Comfortable and spacious sleeping, eating, relaxing areas. We’re it not raining, we would have made use of the outdoor seating areas, too. Plenty of areas for hiking.
The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed for our few days. The only problem we encountered was the sauna was not working, which was a huge draw for choosing the cabin for a winter trip and we never heard anything back after reaching out about it.. Even still, the location was fantastic and we'd consider another stay in the future.
Communication from the manager and owner made everything easy - including finding the house at night, and getting inside. The kitchen has the pots and pans that we needed, and even an electric griddle. The living room has comfy couches and room to relax. Awesome location!
