If you've experienced Minnesota's North Shore, you know the secret beauty that awaits. From hiking, skiing and the famous Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail, the only challenge is deciding what do first...that is, if you can peel yourself away from the private beach and your cup of coffee.

A one of a kind property on the north shore for our guests to enjoy in complete privacy.

In contrast to the rocky shoreline of most of Lake superior, this is the only property that has a sandy beach that is naturally black in color. Come experience it.
Guest accommodations at this vacation home offer fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies. Accommodations are furnished with dining tables and kitchen islands. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers.

Winter Getaway
We had a wonderful long weekend with our best friends. We come to the North Shore every January and we’re so glad we were able to stay at Black Beach Cove. There was plenty of room and we loved the feel of the cozy cabin. We enjoyed fires in the wood burning fireplace and the view from each room was amazing. The private beach was beautiful and we appreciated that the cabin was within quick driving distance to so many parks/trails to explore. The cabin had everything we needed including snuggly blankets and games to play. We hope to return in the future.

Birthday Getaway
This property is even more stunning than the pictures show it to be. It is the perfect traditional cabin getaway but has all modern amenities. The kitchen was wonderful for family meals, and the house is perched right next to the beach and you can hear the waves from the porch. It felt very private, yet it was incredibly accessible. Love the location so close to Split Rock and the state parks. The host was incredibly accessible and very kind. We were bummed to have to leave a night early due to a big winter storm. We left because of road conditions in souther Minnesota that would be on our drive, but the host was very reassuring of the wonderful snow services they have for the house if we had wanted to stay. We will definitely be returning.

20th Anniversary get away
This property is extremely cozy and right on Lake Superior. Ten or fifteen steps and your right on the beautiful black sand beach. We chose this property to spend our 20th anniversary at. Although our trip was cut a little short due to weather we will definitely be back to stay again. The garage however is not right next to the cabin, it’s about halfway up the hill that is the driveway to the highway. It should be noted that the driveway is at a decent grade up to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Great place and location
The property and cabin are just as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds/linens were comfortable and all mechanicals worked as expected. Our family loved our time here. Our children are more indoor kids but here, they couldn't spend enough time on the beach, exploring, agate hunting and enjoying campfires. It's nice to be so close to town and groceries as we had to make a few runs. The owners were great and communicative. We hope to stay here again soon.
