This wonderful and historic is the property of the YMCA....... scenic spot with all kinds of opportunities for sports......pickle ball, tennis, water sports, gym, hiking, etc. Buildings are old and beautifully kept. Staff treats you like they've known you for years. Conference center but we went on our own. Food is ok....served cafeteria style. No restaurants close so take your own snacks.

What a fantastic place. When I was looking for a venue for a camp-style wedding with hotel accommodations I wish I would’ve known about Silver Bay YMCA Resort. It’s right on the lake, has activities available all day (swimming, archery, tennis and pickleball, rope course ), easy and unpretentious dining. I stayed here for a wedding and thinking about how I’ll come back with loved ones. It would be a great place for a future family reunion or girls weekend.

Lake was beautiful as usual. The staff was exceptional - always helpful and friendly. Overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and felt very safe and relaxing. Breakfast was good - very good fresh fruit salad and yogurt bar and assorted breakfast drinks and make your own waffles (though if they could include chocolate chips as a topping and cinnamon it would make it even better). The prepared cafeteria-style hash browns were very good, eggs not so good. Had an older Inn room which was as advertised. The one we had was clean with 2 twin beds and did not have AC, TV, or microwave (I missed not having the AC as the room was pretty warm despite the ceiling fan and window fan).

Excellent staff , a lot of activities. Beautiful landscape , hiking, swimming, biking, boating. And much much more. Great for families. Free coffee, water. Go online check at the pictures. Don’t expect a hotel it’s a camp. Close to Bolton Landing for restaurants and see all the activities offered. We are returning with the family. 5 stars

The surrounding environment is wonderful, lake front, beautiful place to walk around. we stayed in The economy room, the bedding quality was poor. Bathroom was clean though. The whole building is very old and it smells in the hallway.
