It is a very small space just for the bed and another tiny hallway-like area for the kitchen. The bathroom does not have a door, so there is no privacy. My recommendation is to look for another place nearby, because the area is very nice. But not this one. I was at least expecting a refund, which clearly is not going to happen. We had to rent a hotel room for the other two people. This has been the only bad experience I have had with Expedia. I would recommend that you take action regarding this matter. On top of that, it was a nightmare to receive the check-in instructions. I started messaging four hours before and only received a response five minutes before check-in, with the stress of arriving there and not finding anyone to help me because it is a virtual reception. It was a place to stay, very dated. Broken refrigerator handle, heating system did not work. And cold water in shower also didn’t work. More like a college apartment and should not be called luxury. My first night they partied until 4am then started back the next morning at 11am. Loud music and people screaming all day and night inside the apartment and in the shared pool. I stayed 2 of 6 nights. We just couldn’t take the sleepless nights. We got another hotel down the street. The owner responded to one of my many messages and never offered a partial refund. Pictures are actually the Marriott across the street. I rented a place for 3\. Upon arrival we were greeted by a heavy smell of cigarette and the noice of an AC working very hard but the temperature was uncomfortable high. We rented a unit for 3 but there is only space for two. No way to accommodate 3\. Tried to use the bathroom and a 2 inch cockroach was walking around in the shower. While the conditions weren't horrible a few things could be improved upon to make the experience more comfortable for guests. The futon was small and the only option for seating other than a beach chair in the closet. I only had 3 people in the room and had to use the beach chair for extra seating. The futon had a broken leg so it sat at a slant. This was also one of the options for sleeping which made for a less than comfortable sleeping experience for who ended up there. The bed wasn't the best but way better than the futon option. There was a full kitchen and some pots and pans but nothing to cook with for the oven. There were no extra trash bags and no soap to wash dishes. Other reviews said there was only an air conditioner in the bedroom. This was true but it cooled the living room off fairly well but only as long as the bedroom door was left open. If you are only staying one night these things could be looked over to a certain degree but after a week long stay I was happy to be able to sit in regular furniture. The owner was polite when we called to check-in and later on in the trip about an internet outage but doesn't respond by text very well.
