This property is essentially a bed and breakfast with just a few rooms in a historic part of Ribe. It has a certain rustic charm, but the cleanliness and upkeep left a lot to be desired. The shower curtain and shower head were not clean and the body wash-shampoo container was empty. The 4 poster bed was nice but the top had not been dusted in some time. The breakfast was lovely with fresh rolls and Scandinavian toppings. The gentleman who checked us in was polite and thorough with the instructions. He clearly works hard, but this establishment needs some more upkeep.

Staff did a great job while being invisible because check in is virtual and super convenient. We took advantage of the onsite parking and the use of the washing machine which really saved us at the end of a long week. We loved the peaceful country vibe, while being adjacent to conveniences and easy travel routes. 100% would book again!

Very basic room with two beds

Breakfast was very basic by Canadian standards. It lacked protein options and healthy fats, so for the price, we didn't feel it offered good value. The rooms were as expected—small. The mattress on the bunk bed was not very comfortable, and the air circulation in the room was poor. The room was also too warm, even with the window opened as much as possible. We appreciated having complimentary coffee and a kettle in the room, which was a nice touch. The hotel lobby was spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Great location, just outside the town. An easy walk or bike ride away. Basic cabin was roomy enough for two and the small deck was nice to sit and use under shelter. Very well maintained site and friendly staff.
