Stayed in the room not caravan.
Room as a good size and was clean. Couldn’t find anything that wasn’t clean, even the kettle was clean inside unlike most hotels that need descaling. The food in the pub was very nice and staff friendly.
I personally wouldn’t stay again with children as you can hear the music from the pub downstairs and there’s an odd noise like drilling when someone turns a tap on which is slightly irritating especially at 4am in the morning. Also as others have said could do with some curtains as it was very light in the morning.
It was a lovely warm room, we could make tea or coffee or go downstairs to the Bar for a drink, but unfortunately they were putting an oven in so there was no food. I would certainly go there again. But I didnt like the metal staircase, what with my arthritus, found it too steep. You could do with a lift.
Room was very nice but also very warm, had to fill kettle with a glass as bathroom sink was to small, also didn't offer breakfast as didn't open till 12noon.
The staff, mainly the 2 women behind the bar, was excellent, very polite and no complaints. Thats where the good ends I'm afraid. We was informed upon arrival of the food times, and how they stop serving food at 2045. This is for a pub full of people plus guests. Our second night, we came back from a lovely day and was ready for our tea, at 1730, we tried to order. However, we was told they are stopping service and refused any food orders because they had a party booked in. The amount??...... 17! 17 people as a booking brought the entire kitchen to halt for everyone else and no one could be bothered to inform us. They treat it more like a club than a hotel and pub. The music is blaring out until stupid o clock in the morning, with absolutely no regard for the guests, and they absolutely do not care. The walls are disgustingly thin, to the point where we could hear the man in the room next to us farting all night, along with every word of their conversation. £170 for a room where you get no breakfast, no tea if theres a party of 17 in, no peace, no sleep, no privacy because of the thin walls, and you don't even get asked how your stay was because to check out, you put your key in door and they don't want to know you after that. Would honestly, hand on heart, urge people to look elsewhere before booking this "hotel". Get your priorities in order! Either be a club, a pub or a hotel, but you're failing at what it is at the minute.
The place was really easy to find. Nice and quiet with a great bar and excellent food menu. Lots of space and friendly staff. The caravan was laid out for our family requirements and was comfortable. I would defently stay there again as it is a great location for travelling around the local area.
Wasnt the best experience drive 3 and a half hours the room wasnt what it looked like the tv was just about hagging on the wall got picture of the room tv on the wall and when i asked for my money back got told to go thought the app staff was horrible differenty Wasnt recommended to anyone saying hear
Went to check in and staff was rude. Bed was dirty and discoloured, pieces of hair all over, not cleaned at all just bed made.
Found a dead spider in the lamp. very small bottle of shampoo, requested for more and the staff seemed annoyed and said to me are they all finished. Noisy neighbours, couldn’t sleep until 4am!
A pleasant stay at The Kings Head Inn. Booked the room last minute. Accommodation was exactly as presented in the images. Shame there was no site on staff during check in and out hours. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was close to Ingoldmells and Skegness. Plenty things to do nearby at a 5 minute driving distance. Couldn't fault the stay.
