“The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.”
“Unsafe to go there. Very dirty, sheets with stains on them, garbage on the floor, garbage everywhere. I didn't take the breakfast for safety reason. Such a place is a total disrespect for travelers”
“Aracari is in a deplorable state. Stained sheets and dirty, moldy bathrooms. Rooms are super dated and have fire hazards. The breakfast options are limited and served in a dark room. It’s such a shame that the hotel is so poorly maintained because this hotel is in a convenient location and many people from the west side would prefer here than Georgetown. Sadly, I will never stay here again.”
“Terrible staff. I prepaid for breakfast. They couldn’t find it in their systems and continuously harassed me throughout my stay. I was with my 10 year old. Despite being told it was cleared, they continued everyday to pester me. I decided just to pay to get them to leave me alone. And I emailed corporate Marriott. On day of check out. They again told me I had an unpaid balance. Ridiculous.
The rooms were not cleaned for two days. Despite asking repeatedly for room cleaning. No clean towels……
