The nearest sandy beach is only one kilometer away and the town of Søgne is only a few minutes by car. If you want to visit the zoo in Kristiansand during your vacations, it is only half an hour's drive there. In the center of Kristiansand there is both a ferry port, a water park and a wide selection of stores and restaurants. Kitchen was small but functional. Bedroom space was a loft in the roof gable area so the beds were low to the ground and with limited vertical clearance. Steps to the main floor (to reach the facilities) were a little steep so if you have mobility challenges, beware. The host was very friendly and eager to please.
