Oceanfront Cabin with Hot Tub!

Welcome to Seascape by IRIS PROPERTIES!

Seascape is a beautiful oceanfront vacation property located just 10 minute walk from downtown Sooke with many bakeries, shops, and natural attractions. Sooke is the gateway to the rugged west coast with incredible beaches, hiking, surfing, and so much more in the area.

Please take special note that the property is comprised of 5 different rental units spread across the property. Some of the units share walls so please be courteous of your neighbours.

Communal areas of the property include the private dock, beach access (on low tide), and the front grassy area and deck overlooking the ocean. Each of the units also has it's own private sitting and outdoor areas. There is also a shared/communal laundry facility on site to be used between the hours of 9 AM-7PM.

We rent to family groups, couples, and visitors from around the globe. We do not cater to any party groups whatsoever. This is a tranquil and quiet area, and we like to rent to groups looking to enjoy the peaceful environment offered in beautiful Sooke.

SEASCAPE BEACH HOUSE

Offering a private balcony with a hot tub and ocean views and a patio with BBQ, this open-spaced house enjoys air-conditioning, a propane fireplace and large flatscreen TV with cable in the seating area.

Note: in order to access the Beach House you must walk down a large and steep set of stairs (see photos for more info, be mindful if you plan to bring a lot of luggage!).

Perfect Getaway
The property was beautiful, just what we were looking for. The views of the water were incredible and the house itself was clean and decorated beautifully. The hot tub was private and perfect for two. Very close to amenities but it's so quiet you'd never know. Check-in was easy and independent and customer service by text was friendly and relatively quick. We will definitely return!

Great view
We stayed here for our honeymoon and it could not have been a better place for us to spend our first week as a married couple. The view is gorgeous. It’s very private and there was nobody around us. It was cozy within a fun little town. There was a grocery store just up the road so we bought our own food and cooked in a few nights. They had all of the essential kitchen appliances. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Victoria and there isn’t a ton to do directly in Sooke so you definitely need a car if you’re staying here. We would have been great staying in at this location the entire time though, the view was absolutely stunning! Overall, highly recommend!

Relaxing cottage on the water in Sooke Harbour
My husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway and this lovely cottage provided it. Fairly well equipped, owners responsive, and very clean. We hiked during the day and came home to a hot tub which remedied stiff, fatigued muscles. Great location, not far from the Juan de Fuca marine trail and East Sooke regional park. Close to the potholes as well and the town. Great trip!

A Superb Beach House Getaway
Close to the water, with an unobstructed view, this detached cottage-style beach house was well-appointed and immaculate. We loved the feeling of seclusion, yet just minutes by car to stores and services. If you have any mobility issues, however, the 48-step stairs down to the unit would be a problem.

Beautiful setting!
Wonderful setting - right on the water with seals on the dock! Hot tub was perfect - private with wonderful ocean views. The property is located on a busy street but this cabin is at the far end of the property and very quiet. The only downside...there are no walking opportunities. You need to drive somewhere to take a walk.

Loved the ocean front cabin, the deck, the dock, the hot tub & the views! We counted 36 seahorses in & around the cabin! The sea-lions visited every morning on the dock. Everything was great! The only negative would be that there was no lightning on the long stairwell (very dark at night)!

Absolutely adorable
The bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, we needed nothing. It was everything they said it was. The only issue was the hot tub jet wouldnt turn on and it was kind of dirty. We called management and they had it fixed and cleaned within the day. They were easy to get ahold of and apologetic. Would rent again if in the area.

Wonderful Romantic Getaway
We are still talking about what a great time we had at the Beach cottage. Location is spectacular. Worth the stairs to have your private oasis. From the moment we entered, with the fabulous decor, to the great king bed with the amazingly crisp sheets, everything was thoughtfully presented. Iris Property management was very welcoming, thorough and responsive. We are already talking about when we can come back.

Beautiful property but poor stocking by maintenance
Property was great and unit was clean and enjoyed the nature and wildlife. We had to go out and purchase tissues to use and king size bed top sheet was 2 full size sheets not a king sheet. Only 1 towel and 4 hand towels and wash cloths for a 2 night stay for 2 persons. Asked for pool towels for hot tub or at least a second bath towel and we never got them. Bath towel was also clean, but stained from use outside as a pool towel previously. With all the hiking at the potholes park in the area etc, really need towels to dry off after showers. Would have been a 5 star stay with better housekeeping staff looking at and stocking property and or replying and rectifying situation.

7 night stay with family member. Loved everything! Space, scenery, cleanliness, locale to notable tourist areas. Weather was fantastic. Had a couple of bald eagles for neigbours and a local sea otter had our attention each morning with coffee on the deck. Used the hot tub daily.

Fabulous priorrty
Location down by water was superb and nicely off the busy highway. Stairs down are fun with us but would be an issue for some people. The private cottage deck was beautifully secluded and close to town. After 5 days of exploring Sooke we wouldn’t have picked any place different. 10/10

LOVELY ACCOM, NOT TURNKEY
Beautiful location, very nice cabin for 2 nights. Fireplace did not work! Hot tub cold and dirty, low on water and smelly upon checkin! Stayed 2 nights, tech came 2nd day so finally was able to use 3pm. Fireplace had no propane (easy fix), nor did it get running for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately, bad experience which should never happen. After all that’s why we rented was for the fireplace and hottub. After complaining multiple times we were compensated minimally!
