This is a very convenient property in Ft. Lauderdale - literally 1/2 block from the beach with a small, pleasant pool. Our group rented the “extra large” room - sleeps 8, with two bathrooms and it worked well. I would say the fact that this is a check yourself in hotel you just need to be prepared to be independent - it’s more like an AirBnB experience than a hotel. You are sent a code for the gate and the key box to your room. The room was clean - however, a few things were broken or missing - like one of the bathrooms was missing the toilet paper holder, and the other had a broken hair dryer - and the bedding for the couch bed was missing - when I texted via the Expedia app for assistance with the bedding, I was directed downstairs to an office, but the blankets weren’t there either and no hotel staff was on site to assist, however, the hotel staff solved the problem by sending the maintenance staff to drop off several sheets that when stacked together were the weight of a blanket when the staff realized that there were no blankets available for pick up. All in all, I would recommend Elita to other guests - just know what you are booking!

I was really shocked when I came to this hotel. I was expecting 5-star luxury for my weekend in Miami, but it was not that. The building is very old and needs renovating. Walls peeling, furniture chipped just very run down. The front desk was old looking, not to mention we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up to check us in. The pool area was nice and the beds in the rooms were very comfortable. However the pool staff were not really attentive at all. We had to walk around and find them to place orders. Pretty disappointed in the hotel and will not be staying again or recommending if someone is looking for a 5-star luxury hotel in Miami.

Room was clean and great location beside the beach. Room had kitchette and big fridge, microwave etc. so was great. It was dated and internet didn't work in our room but worked well in the lobby. Great value for money :) happy with it.
