“Place is good but very basic stuff. Beds and bedding’s not good and cookware is very old. Place is in forest so be prepared to take your little bit of groceries to cook for your family.”

“The gravel drive that the cabins are on is absolutely horrible. Iv never been on a drive that bad before. There are pot holes everywhere and they are super deep. There are steep hills to go up and down and it’s honestly nearly impossible to do if you don’t have a 4x4. It was only stated in the winter one is needed. I believe it’s needed all year road. “This was perfect for our getaway. We are an older couple who routinely gets away for a couple nights. Loved the location as it is close to several Hocking Hills State Park points of interest. Food sources are farther though, so we shopped at the Logan Kroger first and had several meals at the cabin. The property was cute, comfortable, clean. The grounds were lovely as well. We didn't see how fishing would work out too well, however. No clear path to water, water shallow. But birding did.……

“This was the perfect cabin for our family of four, Dad, Mom, 17, 15. The deck was great to sit and look out over the trees and the hot tub was so nice after our 10 miles of hiking on day two. We had a fire in the outdoor fire pit both nights and cooked all our meals in the cabin. We will be back for more time to relax in the Elk Cabin.”

“Nice location in the middle of the woods…very private however be warned that the walk from your car to the property involves two little bridges and a hill or two. Would not rent again due to this. The home was really beautiful and the a/c was superb(stayed during a heatwave). There is no stove/oven and the cook plate did not work.Cooked everything on the gas grill. Brought a blackstone but did not want to hike it from car to house. Also, there needs to be a more secure way of locking the only……

“Loved my stay at this little cabin in the woods. The host was awesome and made sure I had everything I needed including some fire starter for the fire pit, firewood, a case of water, and coffee! Great place to take an easy walk through the woods and just enjoy some fresh air and down time. I was in the area for a concert and this is just 10 minutes from Athens University, yet felt so remote and secluded. Horses, chickens, and the friendliest dogs all made this even more awesome.
