"Check-in was extremely frustrating and took over 1 hr and 20 mins to get through the line, and it was clear others had been waiting even longer. What made it more difficult was seeing several employees at the desks not actively helping guests; some were on their phones or chatting, and even a manager appeared to be focused on tidying the desk area instead of assisting with the growing line.
After finally checking in, I was directed to the concierge desk for a parking pass, which was unexpected. There, several employees were gathered and it was a forced review of the timeshare offerings and amenities, which I did not sign up for. By that point, my kids had been waiting nearly 2 hours after a long travel day, which made the experience especially frustrating.
The room itself was comfortable and we did enjoy the pool areas. However, some of the policies and operations felt inconvenient. For example, not being allowed to bring pool towels back to the room meant walking back in 65-degree, windy weather without staying warm. In addition, the market was closed, and it was difficult to get into the restaurant since it was the only dining option available. The TVs were also quite outdated and antiquated. There was no option to sign in to streaming services - including screencast - a basic expectation at all hotels for vacation and work travel.
Overall, we did have a good vacation, but largely because we chose to spend most of our time off the resort.
I won't recommend this hotel. "
