“The Hotel Colorado has a long and storied history, having been built in the late 1800's and operating more or less continuously since then. It has been lovingly restored, modernized, and maintained and has a charm all its own. The hotel is located within a short walk of the downtown shopping area and public venues. We did find that the in-house restaurant felt a bit limited and overpriced, but our menu selections were tasty and the service was very good. The only knock I had was a rather steep……
“Moderate priced and close to everything. Walking distance to Glenwood Hot Springs resort, downtown, gondola. Right nextdoor to e-bike and rafting outfitter Blue Sky. Everyone is friendly. Breakfast modest but fresh. Would stay again.”
