“The cottage we stayed in was very nice and loads of space . An ideal location for trail running and long dog walks Threlkeld and keswick were not far away. Loved the doggy treats that were left out. Our only complaint would be that the tv in the lounge had no freeview channels . Had to mirror with my phone. The log burner was lovely and comforting. The ash tray was not emptied by the last guest . Also the welcome package in the kitchen. All the biscuits were well out of date . Otherwise……

“A beautiful cosy piece of heaven. Fantastic accommodation with stunning views. Time has totally stood still (you forget about time or what time it is) 100% relaxed as soon as walk through the door. Would highly recommend staying at this location and property.”

“The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. We struggled with the hob as it clicks off every time we put the pan on and hadnt used that sort of hob before so took a while to figure it out. It was a……

“Perfect location for the beautiful northern lakes and pennines. Yew Tree Cottage is as shown, beautifully furnished, comfortable, as were the beds and bedding, inc great pillows. Welcome pack of tea coffee milk and delicious home made blueberry muffins. The one thing we needed assistance with the owners were very responsive and resolved that same afternoon (on a BH weekend). Internet connection was good, 2 of us had to do some work while on holiday - inc vid conf calls. Great little eatery for……

“This is a great cottage, we'd definitely go back. The location is ideal - a short drive to the big towns and walking distance to the village but still so quiet. Beautiful views (and sheep!). It was spotlessly clean and extraordinarily well equipped with utensils and little bits you might have forgotten, plus a very generous amount of food. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for you. Even the small kitchen still had room enough to cook a meal for five! Highly……
