This beautifully renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is just 1.7 miles from Burgess Falls State Park and minutes from Rock Island State Park and Cummins Falls. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Cookeville and its boat dock, 20 minutes from Hurricane Marina, and an hour and a half to Pigeon Forge or Nashville. Perfect for exploring the Upper Cumberland's scenic spots. If you're seeking a charming and well-located home, this is your ideal getaway! The Space: Newly updated and fully furnished home with high end furnishings. This home features a newly built extra large deck with beautiful pavilion with Edison lights and new patio furniture. Build yourself a camp fire (Firewood not provided) at the fire pit and relax in one of the Adirondack chairs, unwind and completely slow down to enjoy every moment with friends, family, or just yourself. The bedrooms all feature queen beds and all the rooms have Vizio TVs which you can relax and watch over 150 free channels or stream your favorite movie sites with our high speed wireless internet. This property has a full sized kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator. We have a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, dishes, washer & dryer and much more. We look forward to hosting you and are happy to answer any questions! Guest Access: Guest have access to the entire apartment. No smoking is allowed. The interior of this property is excellent. Everything was very clean. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is also a great place. It's quite a distance from just about anything. It's about 20 minutes from shopping in Sparta or Cookeville. We were here as a family with two young children. The house was the perfect size for us. It was also super clean when we checked in which is always appreciated. We did a bunch of waterfalls all less than an hour drive. Would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice place to stay and it was cheaper then a motel. ##### David W. The property is beautiful, and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous—just about 10 minutes from Walmart, which was super convenient. The views driving in and out were stunning.We especially loved the outdoor space, including the fire pit and grill. It was such a great place to relax and unwind.One suggestion: it would be great to update the shower head for better water pressure.Unfortunately, we experienced some plumbing issues during our stay and had to cut our trip short. The check in process does feel a little excessive and weird semi “like a scam” as others have mentioned however this home is just managed by a rental company so a little different check in than when renting from an individual who manages the rental. We were not able to use bathrooms and kitchen for several days.manitance man came .he plunged the toilet then said he had to go get a snake and would be back in about two hours. We never saw him again. Then some men came said it was all fixed buts was not fixed.Kept hearing someone was on their way. It never showed. In the meantime we had to go to my brothers for showers and to eat other wise would have had to go to a hotel. We feel that we were not to fault that the septic tank was full and needed to be pumped out.We would like to get a refund for days without plumbing and all the inconvience. This really spoiled our trip. Your kind attention to this matter and hope no one that goes to any of your rentals has to go through. this ordeal. ##### Jean B. Several days before our stay, our credit card company notified us of a 200 charge by an “unknown” entity, (Preauth Steven’s Real). Neither of us could figure out who or what that was so my husband cancelled his card. Later I realized it was the VRBO. I contacted them to inquire and they said it was a deposit they take and we would be refunded after our stay. The day of check in we called and told them of our new card number.After we were there for two days, in the evening around 6:30pm someone parked outside the rental. They came and knocked on the door. It was a guy who said he didnt’t know someone was staying there and he was going to replace the air conditioner filter. My husband asked who upheld worked for and the guy said Steven’s Realty.We were never notified he was coming. We didn't feel comfortable staying there after he left so since we had finished our business in town we decided to pack up and leave 3 days early. We took pictures of everything before we left in case someone was able to re-enter and stay there. Very disappointing.If the guy from Steven’s didn’t know we were there then how was he going to enter to change out the filter?Every time I texted VRBO it was like texting a computer or automated system. I no longer feel comfortable or safe renting from VRBO.Also, there was a note in the laundry room that said we were to take the garbage can down to the road for garbage pick up on Friday. I paid over 500, they can take care of the garbage! ##### Cindi S.
