Spences Bridge Vacations from $398

The room was clean. It had wonderful blackout curtains. The beds are in need of being replaced. The breakfast bar was a nice surprise. Unfortunately the coffee was like warm brown water and really no protein available. Bread muffins toast and the waffle maker my particular favorite part.

There were no towels in the pool area when we went to swim on the Saturday evening of our stay so we dried with a bathrobe. We had to ask for the second bath robe for our room- there was only one when we checked in. We had to ask for decaf coffee- it was in short supply apparently. There was a shortage of towels in our room- we had to ask for a bath mat and we only had hand towels on the third day- no bath towels. The white grout around the tiles on the bathroom and kitchen floors were black with dirt. There were smear marks on the kitchen cupboard fronts. Staff were pleasant and apologized whenever we asked for anything.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower pressure was great. A couple of small things: the shower never got quite as warm as we'd have liked, and we waited a while at check-in before someone was able to help us. Overall though, a comfortable and clean stay that we'd recommend.
