The staff was courteous and seemed to enjoy their work. The breakfasts were very tasty. There was an excellent, casual restaurant just steps from Kastel 1700. It is in the heart of the Old Town and very near the harbour.

Fabulous gem in Split!
Talk about a fantastic location! This hotel in Split provided the best of everything! The room was clean, updated, and comfortable, the view was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. Dining options were so close, as were tours, and other activities. We will definitely refer friends and others to this hotel!

Kastel had the cutest little rooms right across from the sea! Was beautiful view of the port and other room looked down upon a square right outside the castle. Getting luggage up and down the stairs was the only complaint.
