Location: Within a 5-10 minute walk of 3 different beaches. Within a 15-minute walk of Diocletian’s Palace and several excellent restaurants. Easy access to main roads in Split if you have a car. Off street parking was key. Apartment: The entire place was spectacular. It was so clean you would think they had just opened it for the first time the day you arrived. The appliances were state of the art. The washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Several drying racks are there if you prefer to dry clothes naturally on one of two gorgeous balconies (that have Adriatic Sea views). The furniture and beds were exceedingly comfortable. The electric window blinds kept the rooms dark for optimum sleeping conditions. The bathrooms were spotless and well-equipped with soaps, shampoos, conditioners, towels, hair dryer, etc. The AC was powerful. But the best reason to stay here is the host, Vlatka. She treated us like family. Her communication was outstanding before, during, and after our stay. She is so knowledgeable and excited to share her city. She gave us perfect recommendations for beaches to see, restaurants and foods to try, and places to go. She made reservations for us and helped us figure out a ferry situation. She even gave us advice for our next stop on our trip in a city 3 hours away. She was phenomenal and you could not find a better host.
