Entered my 80 degree room from outside (nice), but noticed immediately part of a candy wrapper on the floor at the foot of the bed. :(

“As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. “The hotel is in walking distance to Riverfront Park. I thought the bathroom situation in my room was super annoying because the counter and sink are the in the common area and the shower toilet are in a separate room. You need these little tickets to get breakfast and a free drink in the bistro and that was also pretty annoying. But the staff was great, the pool area was totally adequate and fine, and it was fairly quiet Saturday night. ”
