My room was very clean, and up to date, but my bathroom vent fan was not working, and I had to get batteries from the front desk to fix my remote for my TV.

The hotel was clean, staff welcoming and efficient and our room was quiet. The breakfast was as expected when free. The person kept the breakfast items well stocked and the area clean. He did a great job. The only issue with the hotel was the area surrounding it. It is on a very busy street, there wasn’t any restaurant open nearby and we and others ordered in, which is more of an inconvenience than anything else. There were homeless in the area (7/11), but they at no time approached us or made us feel unsafe.

There was police across the street dealing with druggies and homeless people , they were bothering people going in and out of the hotel. They were multiple people leaving in camps across the street, the hotel room was not sanitized or cleaned very well. The bright spot was the staff. Was very disappointed in Expedia for not helping me with my concerns by moving us , they made it to be a impossible request with everything that would have to take place to accomplish.
