"I have three things to say. Great staff, clean room, and something I always want is and A/C. They gotta get the room really cold. I got all three was extremely satisfied, and if I pass through Elko again, I will definitely stay there."

"Thoughtful to have dog biscuits at the front counter. Clean room with hard floors which always feels cleaner than a hotel with a carpet, I seek these hotels out. Quiet. Breakfast was a nice inclusion. It is not gourmet but it will definitely get you on the road. Appreciate being able to have hot tea/coffee at off hours/evening. Works best to walk your dog west to the corner of the block where there is grass, since the hotel has mostly just parking. Convenient to groceries across the street and can microwave a dinner/has refrigerator. It's a perfect overnight spot as you travel onward. Have stayed a couple of times and will stay again."

"If you’re looking for a sleek, ultra-modern hotel with minimalist furniture and a room the size of a shoebox…keep driving. But if you appreciate a little retro charm, enormous rooms, cleanliness, comfort, and genuinely friendly service, this place is a gem! Yes, the hotel is dated—but I prefer to call it “beautifully retro,” with a definite 1960s vibe. And honestly? We LOVE it. The rooms are huge, clean, comfortable, and everything is clearly well maintained. There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about the whole place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different era without having to sacrifice a good night's sleep. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference after a long day on the road. And the location is fantastic—right on the main street, with easy access on and off the highway. We make several road trips, and Elko is our perfect halfway point, so this is officially becoming our go-to stop. We’ll absolutely be staying here again. Five stars for service, comfort, cleanliness, location, and retro charm. Why fix what isn't broken?"

"I enjoyed the stay for an overnight stay. Everything was clean however, I forgot socks or slippers and did not feel like the rugs were clean enough for me to walk through. The room had a hint of sock smell. Once you're in you cannot smell it."

"Everything was what you would expect, clean and as described. The view we had was partly of the roof, but given we had a pet friendly room, I figured we had to make a concession."
