“Murphy’s Cottage was perfect for our relaxing getaway! The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the large shaded deck and grill for dining outdoors. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We were especially happy to have our dog with us. Arnold has a lot to offer, and is very dog friendly. Communication with the owner was easy. He was quick to respond to questions. We look forward to returning to this idyllic spot in the future. ”

“My niece from Avery had a wedding shower in Murphy’s and we booked this amazing house for the weekend. It was a beautiful house and yard and everything was amazing! There were fresh flowers, Easter decorations and we felt right at home. They had everything for our dogs as well. It was perfect!”

“Out of the 2 bathroom, one did not have any hot water for the shower. We called Friday night and was told maintenance went home at 5 . Contacted them again TWICE on Sat. No one called or came by until 4:30 pm. I was told the faucet handle needed to be replaced but stores were closed. Our checkout was the next morning. So nothing could be done for us. And so the 6 of us took turns sharing one shower in the master bath for all 3 days. Furniture & appliances were dated. Over-the-stove exhaust...

“Our family of 11 from 3 to 70 had a great time! The house was great for us and Megan was very responsive! Easy access to the house and the lake/beach was wonderful! Kids loved the pool table/play room, but didn’t want to sleep downstairs by themselves so if you’re planning to have young kids in the one bedroom downstairs they may not want to be there by themselves. All other bedrooms are upstairs (worked out for us, just an FYI). Kitchen has everything you need! One of the best equipped kitchens...

“Our multi generational family stayed here for two nights. The home was clean, spacious, had comfortable beds. It had a well equipped kitchen, which included great coffee and spices and plenty of pots and pans. Our 3 year old loved the toys in the 2 playrooms / bedrooms and our teenager enjoyed playing pool. We went swimming in the heated community pool and played golf!! We would definitely stay here again!”
