Accommodations were good. Host is responsive. View from the deck is great, easy access to the beach and pool. Parking is easy and ample. The beach is very nice, it's large and has soft sugary white sand. This is a very quiet area with only a couple things actually walkable (one pizza place, an Asian restaurant, ice cream shop, gas station and a bar) but plenty to see and do within 5-20 minutes drive. Downtown St Augustine is a must - such a great town with so much history, cute shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment, not to mention water views. It's a very safe area and very walkable. Pizza across the street is very good but dark and run down inside, The Salt Life in St Augustine Beach restaurant was fantastic. We'll definitely come back to the area. ##### Keri S. The room was comfortable for the two of us. The staff was courteous. The building was quiet, pet friendly, and family oriented We walked to everything. We enjoyed the ice cream shop across the street . The seafood restaurant next door was excellent. We enjoy areas without tourist shops, chain restaurants, and traffic. We drove to a nearby movie theater and enjoyed a quick trip to downtown St. Augustine. There are two grocery stores nearby as well. We had a nice time except for one incident which was taken care of. We loved having an ocean view and the condo was adequate for our needs with necessary dishes, etc. The manager was attentive and responded quickly to messages. There was a good bit of dust on areas like ceiling fans and lamp shades, which may be uncomfortable for those with allergies. Overall the condo seemed clean, which must be challenging to accomplish in a place where sand gets everywhere constantly. There is a heated pool on the property which we enjoyed once the weather warmed up a bit. The pool area is sheltered on three sides which made it a pleasant place to be even on chilly days. Resort staff were also friendly and helpful. The area was wonderful, with the small town feel of island life. The other guests were friendly and considerate, too. And the beach was heavenly!
