“An unusual interior layout but excellent in terms of facilities, parking and comfort. Its location is good for access to the Lake District but more importantly the excellent beach at St, Bees which is dog heaven!! The location being next to the railway station(very quiet and not a nuisance) offers the opportunity of leaving the car behind and travelling by rail to nearby locations. “Very quiet and peaceful in which the caravan is situated, 20mins drive to the nearest supermarket, well equipped kitchen, caravan was lovely the only downside was the cleaning especially in the shower as it was full of cobwebs, spiders and flies, also came to use the oven and there was a dirty oily tray in there, the main areas were clean like worktops etc, I did have a really pleasant stay I can’t fault that, and I did clean everything I’ve mentioned, I just don’t think enough people stay……

“The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. Other than that, just a beautiful home from home and an incredible team at Keswick Cottages!! If you’re thinking about booking with them…just book…right now!!”

“The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.”
