"Great location but gets really loud on the weekends in the plaza it faces - tourists/students partying in the streets till 4am so make sure you take a pair of the free earplugs they hand out. Close to the canals the tower and a 10 minute walk to the station - everything you need. Front desk staff really nice and welcoming. The connecting 5th restaurant is a decent (if overpriced) spot. "

"The hotel is clean, modern and well appointed, and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) are very friendly helpful and an absolute credit to the business. The bed is comfortable, the shower is modern, clean and has excellent water pressure and the house staff do a wonderful job.
One of my favourite points was the quality of the breakfast buffet. It's the standard European breakfast range, but without the quality problems that usually present themselves at other hotels. The food is on par with most 5* hotels that we've stayed in."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this friendly, clean hotel. Service was brilliant. Fantastic breakfast. The walk along the canal into the center of Utrecht took about 30 mins. We found a lovely cafe on the way. Could not fault our stay at all. Thank you 😊 "

"Excellent hotel, in a fantastic location for exploring Utrecht. We found it to be very family friendly with games to play in the reception areas and we really enjoyed the tables canalside outside for eating/drinking. We felt safe, looked after and the hotel visually very cool. The breakfast options were 10/10 we will miss it! The evening restaurant food was fab with options for all tastes. Travelling as an Autism family we found the hotel to be super welcoming and inclusive."

"I absolutely loved staying in this unique and lovely canal house. I stayed 4 nights in late June. One of my oldest best pals visited me the last two nights and stayed on the fold-out bed in the living room. Both beds were very comfy. The whole place is very nice with a cool atmosphere and very nice accommodations.We both really enjoyed the atmosphere, the nice sauna, lovely shower and steam room, the modern kitchen, the location on the canal and central in old Utrecht- everything about it was just awesome. I especially enjoyed sitting outside on the canal in the evenings and taking it all in. This property made my visit to Utrecht extra special. Thank you."

"A really nice room in a friendly hotel and a really good location. We had a really enjoyable stay. Fabulous breakfast. However, a few things would make this an exceptional hotel. There wasn't a safe in the room, given that the customers of the cafe below have access to the rooms' area for the toilets, this should be a must. There was nowhere to hang your clothes/coats etc, except for a coat stand. Some coat hangers would be useful. Lastly, there is no bespoke reception area. The cafe staff checked us in, in-between serving customers with their food. All of that said, I would probably stay here again - the room was super. "
